Report Support: How to Effectively Utilize CTP Data

    Presented by ERB

CTP's rich data provides your school with a wealth of information—but delving into all that data can be a daunting task for both the advanced and beginning CTP user. Join ERB and your colleagues in a collaborative, three-hour workshop where you’ll learn step-by-step strategies to analyze your CTP data at both the school, classroom, and individual student level. We’ll start by looking at the “big picture” reports that allow you to monitor curriculum implementation across all subtests. Then, we’ll transition into reports that focus on the classroom, to help your teachers, counselors, and learning specialists create better plans for differentiated instruction. We’ll wrap up by zeroing in on individual student reports, including those designed to share with parents.

Throughout the workshop, we’ll also learn how to effectively utilize CTP norming options to generate reports that allow you to view your data from a variety of different perspectives. You’ll leave this workshop knowing how to support your school’s educational goals by more effectively generating, interpreting, and reacting to your CTP data. Don't forget your laptops and chargers—this workshop includes hands-on exercises in the CTP Portal. Lunch is available prior to the workshop.

Putting It Together: Building Shared Ownership with Others in Our Schools

Presented by Janice Crampton and Dr. Dayle Savage

How does the admission professional work with others in their schools? From administration, to marketing and communications, to parent’s groups, to faculty and more, there are many pathways to improved communication that intersect these constituencies. This workshop will take a three-fold approach. We will:

    1.

Facilitate conversations that uncover challenges and constraints while championing our efforts to work and play well with others.

    2.

Employ a learning assessment that allows participants to explore their communication styles so as to improve their communication competence.

    3.

Review operational tools and strategies that can augment communication thereby building shared ownership with the many involved in the admission process in our schools.

Participants will walk away with tools, techniques, and insights that can be utilized to enhance the communication among and between all areas of their school’s administration.
